How long does the promotion go for?

Promotion commences on 09:00am 04/09/2018 and final entries close at 05:00pm on 26/11/2018 (“Promotional Period”). Promotion times are AEST and AEDT (as the case requires) for Australian residents and New Zealand local time for New Zealand residents.

How do I play and what EXTRA® products can I enter with?

During the promotional period, buy a specially marked pack or bottle of Wrigley EXTRA® chewing gum from any retailer that stocks such products, in Australia or New Zealand. Entry is subject to the limits outlined in Clause 17 of the Promotion’s Terms and Conditions.

Visit www.wrigleyextra.com.au or, using the Shazam app on your mobile, scan the Shazam logo featured on the specially marked pack/bottle of Wrigley EXTRA® to be directed to the mobile site.

Click through to the relevant page, according to your country of residence.

Complete the following fields:

  • Enter your details (First and last names, Email address, Street address only, Mobile phone number, Male or Female)
  • Unique Code (made of 10 digits, found within the specially marked Wrigley EXTRA® product)*
  • Enter security CAPTCHA
  • Check the boxes:

    a) I agree I am an Australian or New Zealand resident aged 18 years or over and that neither myself nor my family members are employed by the Promoter, Bose Pty Limited, Apple Inc., Ticketek, Integer Australia or Prime Focus;
    b) I agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, and I agree that if any of the above requirements are not met, that my entry can be subject to invalidation;
    c) I agree that:

    i. I will only enter a maximum of one (1) entry for each eligible product purchased;
    ii. I will only enter once per day;
    iii. I will take a photo of my product packaging, clearly showing its Unique Code which was used for entry and ensure the photograph is clearly taken outside of a retail environment in an outdoor setting showing the EXTRA® product packaging clearly open and displaying the promotional Unique Code which was used for entry;
    iv. I will safely store this photo until 13/03/2019 (14 days after the 2nd chance unclaimed prize draw date as indicated in Clause 24); and
    v. I understand that this promotion is heavily monitored against fraudulent activity and that if I am found to have submitted fraudulent entries using multiple email addresses and/or IP addresses and/or multiple residence addresses of close similarity and/or multiple names of close similarity, that all of my entries will automatically be deemed invalid.

Where will I find my unique code?

If you’re having trouble locating your 10-digit unique code, please check that you have a participating specially marked promotional packs.

Will my code allow me to enter more than once?

Each code is unique to each specially marked pack and will only allow you to enter once. You can refer to the Terms and Conditions here

Should I keep my receipt(s)?

You do not need to keep your receipts. However, you do need to keep a photo of your Wrigley EXTRA® chewing gum packets used to enter. See the next Question-and-Answer, below, to learn more about this.

Should I keep a photo of my Wrigley EXTRA® chewing gum product(s) packaging?

Yes. Please take a photo of the product packaging, clearly showing its Unique Code which was used for your entry and ensure the photo is clearly taken outside of a retail environment in an outdoor setting showing the EXTRA® product packaging clearly open and displaying the promotional Unique Code which was used for entry. You will need to safely store this photo until 13/03/2019 (14 days after the 2nd chance unclaimed prize draw date as indicated in Clause 24 of the terms and conditions of the promotion).

How many times can I enter?

Only one (1) entry is permitted per person per day, following the steps for valid entry outlined in clause 6 of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. Only one (1) Unique Code per entry is permitted. Should your specially marked pack state otherwise please refer to the Terms and Conditions here. The same Unique Code cannot be used more than once and unrecognised codes will be deemed invalid. Each entry must be submitted separately. Entrants found to have submitted fraudulent entries including, without limitation, by way of multiple email addresses and/or IP addresses will be deemed invalid. If I am a provisional winner, how am I validated as a winner?

Our fulfilment team follow two validation steps, before confirming your win. This includes:

  • Checking and confirming that you have not entered more than once per day, and
  • Requesting a photograph of your product packaging used for entry. They look for a photo that is clearly taken outside of a retail environment in an outdoor setting showing the EXTRA® product packaging clearly open and displaying the promotional Unique Code which was used for the provisionally winning entry.

How will I know if I have won?

If you are an Australian resident: Once you have clicked ‘SUBMIT’ you will receive an automatic email that will indicate if you are a provisional winner or not.

If you are a New Zealand resident: Once you have clicked ‘SUBMIT’ you will receive an automatic email to confirm that your entry has been successfully submitted and received. Within this email, you will also be informed that you should expect to wait a maximum of 5 business days before receiving an email from our fulfilment team to confirm if you have been drawn as a provisional winner.

Can I win more than once?

A maximum of two prizes are allowed per household (excluding SA residents), for regulatory reasons.

My entries have been cross-checked by the fulfilment team and I am confirmed as a winner, when will I get my prize?

Congratulations! After our fulfilment team have confirmed your valid win, you will receive an email within five business days that will either a) include your e-prize, or b) the postal tracking number to track your physical prize’s progress in the post.

I saw an EXTRA® promotion in Woolworths to win a trip to L.A. to attend the Grammys®, can I enter that promotion as well?

Yes, once you have submitted your entry into the EXTRA® Win Music Prizes Daily Promotion, you’ll see an automated on-screen message that will confirm whether you’re a provisional winner. On that screen, there will be a link to enter the EXTRA® Win a trip to L.A. and attend the Grammys® Woolworths Promotion which you can click on if you’d like. You will then be directed to enter this Grammys promo – so long as you bought your EXTRA® product from Woolworths during this promotion’s specific promotional period – i.e. between 9 am on 03/10/18 to 11:59pm on 16/10/18 – and have kept your receipt. So, you must enter within this time frame, keep your Woolworths receipt and upload it when prompted, for a chance to win.

If you missed this link in the automated message you got after entering the EXTRA® Win Music Prizes Daily Promotion – that’s no problem! Instead, you can simply visit wrigleyextra.com.au and click on the Grammys® promotion banner. From here, you’ll need to enter your details, upload your eligible purchase receipt from Woolworths, tick the mandatory check-boxes and agree to the terms and conditions of the promotion, as required, and you will be entered into this promotion as well!

What is CAPTCHA?

This is just a security measure intended to distinguish a human from machine input - we use it to make sure all entrants are genuine and not spam, automated or set up to enter multiple times. It’s in essence just another entry field, but it is slightly different in that it will be a small online visual perception task. It’s designed so that humans can pass it, but not computers.

If any prizes are unclaimed, when is the 2nd chance draw?

A 2nd chance draw for any unclaimed prizes from each of Australia and New Zealand will take place at 11:00am AEDT on 27/02/2019 at Prime Focus, Level 1, 500 Chapel Street, South Yarra VIC 3141, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Only entries that have not won a prize already will be entered into the relevant 2nd chance draw. Winners (if any) will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. Australian and New Zealand winners’ names will be uploaded to www.wrigleyextra.com.au from 01/03/2019.

Australian resident entrants who submit a valid entry to the EXTRA® Win Music Prizes Daily Promotion will be notified instantly online if they are a provisional winner. All valid entries received from non-winners of a prize will automatically be placed in the 2nd chance draw for any unclaimed prizes.

New Zealand resident entrants who submit a valid entry to the EXTRA® Win Music Prizes Daily Promotion during the Promotional Period will be entered into the relevant Daily Draw, which is for New Zealand residents only and separate from the Australian prize pool.
